In 1988, Mark started his own publishing company and launched three magazines in the team sports b2b market: Athletic Management, Training & Conditioning and Coaching Management. In 2019, he sold the magazines to Great American Media Services and joined GAMS, merging Athletic Management and Coaching Management with Coach & Athletic Director and expanding the focus and reach of Training & Conditioning.
Wesley Sykes is the managing editor of the sports division for Great American Media Services, overseeing the editorial content for Coach & Athletic Director, Training & Conditioning, and Winning Hoops brands. His aim is to provide news, information, and features that are both enlightening and entertaining for sports industry professionals across the country using various story-telling media platforms. Upon receiving his journalism degree from Hofstra University, Wesley has covered a wide variety of athletics — ranging from the NFL and NBA to collegiate and high school sports and everything in between.
Ali has 5 plus years of experience as a Graphic Designer and has been working at Great American Media Services since the fall of 2016. She currently is the Creative Director and also the lead designer on Gift Shop Plus and Lawn & Garden Retailer. Ali enjoys the world of creative problem solving and has a passion for bringing ideas to life through graphic design.
